68 dart with previous upgrade to 73+ discs years ago.
I now have 11.75 rotors, and the larger caliper bracket I bought from Dr. Diff. I got as far as the picture shows and everything seemed OK, until I dug into the boxes with my calipers and pads. Then I realized the bracket doesn’t go past the rotor for someplace for the pads to sit on.
It’s been too long since I took this apart to remember what it’s supposed to look like, but I’m pretty sure the pads are supposed to hang on the bracket.

Go download the 73 service manual from MyMopar

The pads go "in" the caliper. Make certain you have them left/ right in such a way the bleeders are on top

Thanks Del, I don’t know why I didn’t think to download the 73 manual. I already had one for earlier cars.
Another question though,
Does the 69 Camaro brake hose that everyone says to use for rear mounted calipers usuall point right at the ball joint?
Is that simply just finding a hose with a shorter fitting?

I had been stashing parts as I could over the life of this project. I may have the wrong calipers as I probably had those early-on when the plan was just to get this on the road. Do I need “Cordoba” calipers, as I can’t fit the pads onto the calipers. Im assuming I got the pads when I got the rotors.

You need calipers and hoses for a 1980 volare. They were rear mounted and work perfectly for the conversion.

Here’s a few pics of the parts installed on the conversion i did recently

Not sure. I used Volare hoses and they are a bit long, but my ?? flipping them, they make a sort of loop or "U" and work OK.

Somebody above mentioned Volare Calipers. You might investigate them, I did not realize ?? they must have a different hose angle than A body. Just "again to be sure" ignore which side they are supposed to be on and make darn sure the bleeders are at the top
