1968 valiant 2dr post , new floor in and now stalled working on swapping yj 4.0 to better bodied one thanks for asking…….

Nowhere. Sold my Challenger, first attempt at getting an A body was a disaster. Torn on trying again or giving up. Going to the Nats.

A body prices are nuts.

I’m waiting for something, just not sure what..

Been playin' with a 63 Belvedere for the last 5 years. Just a beater left over parts car that I didn't have the heart to let go or cut up. Spent it's whole life in Tucson Az so it's real solid. Built it for fun to do the Zip Tie Drags in 2019.S#it happened and I wasn't able to go,then covid, then the daughters new baby, so not much till lately.Almost ready for registration and insurance. Did take it to a Police fund raiser car show but have a pinion angle issue to work out.
One of those "Round to it" cars that when time and ambition comes around I play with it.

82 D150, newly rebuilt engine (second try) is a day or so away from driving down the road. A few wires, radiator, fan, PS pump, etc and it will be ready to go.

Then it's time to roll the Dart back on the lift and get busy on the front end work. There is a slim chance this one will be done this year, but I'm not holding my breath.

George Jets, That Duster just popped up on You Tube.
It's a Maple Motors car and man it is rusty! They are asking $13,500 or close to that. Pass.

Thanks for the Heads Up, never thought I would hear a thing about it again as he was turning off off into the sunset.

FABO members have connections to find out what's up with what.

Thanks

84 D100 slant 6 4 speed. I had planned on dropping in a fresh 318. Still need a flywheel, motor mount brackets. Now gas is $5.09.. I think the slant 6 can stay a while. I still have drop shackles to do. And want to lower the front way down. Maybe a 8 3/4 rear end.

Sadly I've had to basically put all my projects on an indefinite hold, I'm getting my *** handed to me with this inflation and gas prices. I was making enough to get by, save and put a bit into my projects but now I'm basically living check-to-check just making bills and rent and paying for groceries, gas etc. Might have to look at going to a different job later this summer as things aren't looking too great at my current job right now. Might change over the next couple months but I'm not holding my breath... such is life, working for a startup company.

What is your desired field of work?

What is your desired field of work?

I'm a mechanical engineer, got my master's last year. If I was working at a "normal" company I'd be more than fine financially but working for this startup I get paid about half the median salary for someone with my education level in my line of work. I'm gonna hold fast for a couple more months and see if things pick up but if not I'm gonna start job hunting. I'm 31 and have been living like a college kid for years I'm so f***ing over it lol.

I never worked for a startup, but they were around when I was in Silicon Valley (1980s). A company needs to compensate based on your education and experience. That can be salary alone or salary plus extras. In many cases a startup can only afford to give shares in the company. If you aren't getting your worth either way you need to be looking now. They are very unlikely to be generous later...Sounds like they really don't have enough startup capital...
