Hi everybody:

My car cools just fine going down the HWY and it's about the same as this 2.02 J heads with a 750 holley 185' down the HYW but when you stop it shoots up I think the main problem is that the fan pulley is too big and basically Dutch windmills around at idle. I have a Northern radiator and got a nice shroud made for it. One of the guys at the shop said maybe he could get a chevy one to work on it?

This one is mine and one more thing. Is coper actually better?

That's what I'm thinking. But where to get one is the problem. Tried before but couldn't find one :( If you're an old fart and road 10 bikes around in the day it's very easy to know what's wrong here  What I actually should have said in the title of the thread was "I wish I knew where he GOT this fan pulley" Maybe a guy could even adapt smaller one if he couldn't find a mopar one. The guy who made the shroud makes just about every thing on all the race cars but it would cost big money.

i may have one laying in the garage, lemme check

The only single groove pulley i have is just under 7 inches across

Your fan needs to be about 1/2 out of the shroud or nothing you do will help. Took me a long time to figure that out with my custom shroud.
