New Big Block 4340 RB 4.15" Stroke Crankshaft, Mopar 2.375" Rod Journals

Just for clarification, does this crank only work in an RB block? Are the counter weights too tall to work in a 400 B block to make a 470? Thanks.

This is a 440 RB crank with 2.75" diameter mains journals. A "B" crank has 2.625" diameter mains journals. So no the mains and the counter weight diameter would not fit in a B block like it is. However before aftermarket cranks were available lots of racers turned down 440 cranks to go in B blocks.

Also a 4.15" stroke wouldn't make a 470" in a 400 B block. It would make a 498" at .030" over.

You can buy a 4.15" stroke B block crank, as well as, several other stroke options @ 440 Source for $904 delivered to your door.
