Hello
My name is ian. I have a 1973 dart sport roller that needs a lot of love. Bought this to work on with my dad and we unfortunately lost him suddenly. He was an old school gear head with a ton of knowledge that I don't have. But my daughters want it to be an us project now instead of getting rid of it .I will be hoping to get the answers I need here.

Welcome to you and your daughters. That's a great looking project and i love the color & full vinyl roof on a 73'. Lots of great members here can help you thru the process, just don't get taken in by the go big or go home crowd.:lol: Build and modify it within your means and you'll have a lot of fun and honor your dad.:thumbsup:

You made a great choice both with your car and joining this forum. Tons of great people here with decades of knowledge.

Condolences on the loss of your father.

Welcome aboard Ian! Sorry to hear about Dad. On the bright side, now you have your kids looking forward to Dad and the car. Great car by the way. Loven it!

There’s tons of old school guys here and some very reputable builders of engines, transmissions, rear ends, a couple of quality electrical guys. Yea! You come to the right place! My suggestion is;

Make a plan and stick to it.
Get the factory service manuals
Ask the local racers (if possible) where a quality machine shop is and hopefully a fella very familiar with MoPar engines as well as an old school mechanic in case you run into a problem or need a special tool that is t cost effective to purchase for 1 job.

Hi Ian. Welcome from the Hudson Valley. Sorry for the loss of your Dad. If you have the time you may want to check out The Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle next month. Awesome show and swap meet. If not....make a list for next year. Worth the trip. Good luck.
