Wash the dirt off of it. and put tires and wheel on it.
The quarters were cut for slicks , It was raced at windgap in the 70's. It is 440 4 spd, 410 dana, manual steering, AM 8 track. 59,000 original miles. note the 70's shag carpet. It has one repaint. it is originally B7 blue. white bucket seat interior.

That is a wicked car! Awesome find!
I didn't find it. It found us. I knew the car and owner from the 70's. His family owns a farm up the road. He bought it at age 16 in 1973. He brought it here for us to get running for a car show next week at Reagle Dodge.

He drove it here but some of the spark plug wires are broke off. Its not a perfect car but all original drive line and sheet metal Very Very little rust. Needs a GTX grille. I can't wait to take it for a ride. It will bring back memories of mine . I rode in this car in the early 70's

That's a beautiful (very rare) car!! Would you mind telling us (more or less) what you paid for it?? It allows all us Mopar owners to know what the market is doing on these old "great" cars.:thumbsup::thumbsup::steering::steering::steering:

Don't worry....no amount (kinda) would be too much for that car!!

I don’t think he owns it but is doing some tuneup work for the owner.

It warms my heart to know that cars like that are still out there, hidden away in barns and garages just waiting to be reborn. Badass.

Sweet car and in great shape....especially for PA. Must have kept it off the salty roads in the winter.
A 69 B turned up about a mile from my house recently. I assume satellite but you never know. I need to go inquire but worried I may end up with yet another car.

Great car and find, thanks for posting.

B7 didn’t come out until 1969. Likely EE1 paint code.

Worried? Don't sound like a reason to be worried!

Nice GTX! Seeing actual cars from your youth sure does stir up the memory banks for sure.
Off topic here, but have y'all had a chance to get your Dads old Chevy tow truck home yet?

The tow truck hopes died when he gave us the price. $4000 plus fuel is way to much for what is left of the truck. the booms and back are rotted beyond repair

Nice!

Similar interior as my 68 Coronet 500, dark green dash and white buckets. Got the wood wheel also.

My jealousy cup runneth over. And I own my beloved '69 4-speed GTX.

I have owned nothing but Plymouths in my Mopar classic car efforts.

I believe the GTX is the best car Plymouth ever produced. I've had, and have Duster, Cuda, Satellite, RoadRunner. The GTX? The best of components, balance, interior, badging, performance options. And just a more pleasure to drive. Especially compared to any classic Mopar base model to base model. Other models can get the good stuff if the right performance check marks were added in its build. But with GTX (Especially 4-speed) there were no choices. It came with the heavier suspension and drivetrain components.

So in my opinion. You can't go wrong with GTX. You had no choice but the best Plymouth ever built.
