But the Edelbrock SC for the Pentastar is small in size compared to others, like Magnuson 1900cc
So i wanted to see what else might fit.
Only viable option from Edelbrock is a 1740cc used on the Colorado.
So I first did a little CAD practice to see where things may wind up. I modeled the 1740cc onto the Jeep's 1320cc lower.
Unfortunately, the adapter bracket Edelbrock kit uses, moves the Jeep alternator right in the way and would require a 1" spacer for the Throttle body to clear the belt.
I need an adapter plate anyway so not a huge deal IF it fits under the hood?!?!
So see what other pitfalls there may be to adapting the 1740cc, I used this 3D printed part.
This is the current JL Wrangler 3.6L 1320cc next to a 3D print of a 1740cc for the Colorado 3.6L.
