No reason to put in a high dollar crank, rods, pistons and the like unless you are building for performance or race. The stock engine only belongs in one particular car and if that car is being restored, the stock internal components are all that's needed. A built engine usually sells for more than a bone stock rebuild but often times not enough to cover the cost of the components and machine work.
