I built this car 10 years ago. The motor sat a long time before it ran, its about a 2009 6.1 HEMI Crate motor with a MOPAR AEM Computer. I got it going a couple years ago, put a thousand miles on it and then Destroyed 3rd and 4th gears in the transmission and then the
Motor. It is a Kiesler Conversion with a GM 4L60E Automatic. I doubt the motor is worth fixing? I figured Id put another crate motor in it and would hope it had a Different Computer{I could not find anybody that knew that computer} I think another 6.1, 6.2 or 6.4 would work???
Just need a little help figuring this one out. IDEAS???????? Thanks Ron
Oh Yea, that's the piston that came through the back of the motor

Hey, if you're not driving it like you stole it, you're not having fun!!! Sorry for your loss, but I'll bet it was fun while it lasted!

I was at Ray Bartons Racing. He had a LS and a 3rd gen hemi next to each other on a mill. He showed me the difference in the quality of the metal. The surface of the Hemi was dull silver. The surface of the LS looked like chrome. "The third gen Hemis are junk" Those were Rays words not mine. He said he wouldn't waste any money on them. The Big Hemi Garu is now racing and building COPO Camaros.

yet the 6.4/6.2 BGE hemi blocks are good for 1400whp (over 1500whp if you do billet main caps) and the 5.7 block is good for 1000whp

For how long?
As long as the LS guys do it, obviously when you are making 4 digit power parts wear our faster but i talked to the crew at Modern muscle Xtreme and HHP and they all have experience with customer cars and their own making as much power as one could need, be it a daily driver or a track car. I'm building a 5.7 right now that with the piston rod and crank combo I'm gonna be running should be able to handle 1000whp, not like I'm ever gonna need That much horsepower. But the metallurgy in these engines is great and the heads are better than any OEM LS offering. Modern Muscle Xtreme is who gave me those numbers and they are some of the best of the best on gen 3 hemi stuff. I would email them for any questions you have about it.

Good Idea, I was just hoping some one would say go back to the Dealer and buy this crate motor and this computer and it will make 5 or 600 H.P. and bolt back in, But nobody said that???????? Thanks Ron

Closet you'll get is the 6.4/392 crate. Factory 485 hp. Headers, tune, blah blah, they'll be a tick over 500. They(Mopar) used to have the wiring to put it in something old.
