Burned plug wires

Anyone else have this issue. 360 with 273 exhaust manifolds. 5&7 plug wires keep burning.

That's why the factory put heat shields on the DS manifold. Straight plug boots/ends would help a lot, as would looms to properly keep the wires off the manifolds.

Yeah, you gotta keep um off the manifolds. They don't much like that.

My solution was to use the boots, worked out great. 65'
