Not saying it couldn't be buried in the ecu, or as part of the airbag system, for instance. But the two types I am familiar with (early and late Sebring), one used an inertia lock and the other had a module mounted under the console (kind of like a mercury switch). Just know what you need (if anything) ahead of time to avoid headaches and frustration.
Those are really nice looking seats, by the way! I wonder how much work the matching rear seat would be...?
