68-76 4 speed pedals compatibility?

All A-body pedals from 67 to 76 interchange. But not all are the same.
1) there are two pedal ratios; one for the slantys, and the other for everything else.
2) there is the aforementioned HD version for 340s and up.
3) the standard duty V-8 pedals

>If you plan on running a Diaphragm clutch, then the standard duty is all you need. You will be popping the spring off anyway, and with it gone, you don't need the "bearings" which are really just bronze bushings. I haven't tried it, but with a diaphragm clutch, I imagine even the Slanty pedal ratio would work.
>The HD version is for the HD B&B 3-finger clutches that the factory installed on the more powerful engines. The greater ratio makes it easier to control the pedal.
Thank you for the info. Looking for a 8 cylinder set and I imagine 340 sets are harder to come by. It’s for a future project so I’ll hunt around.
