Ignition coil placement

Wondering if anybody had a pic of a small block coil on the engine. Looking for correct stock placement, how far is the coil in the round bracket, are the negative and positive posts up and down, horizontal, or maybe there isnt a correct way?

Want enough clearance at the bottom of the coil to pull the valve cover up and off if you need to.
 
Kinda, Irrelevant if you use an aftermarket coil yes!

If you are going for Some gold at some event the coil pictured will easily kill that!

Drive it like you sole it!
