Trying to wrap my head around a different rear window gasket for a 1969 Swinger with a vinyl top versus a non vinyl top car?
Some places that sell the gasket do not break out a vinyl top car, then there is Laysons, they break out a vinyl top Dart versus a non vinyl top Dart. And a vinyl top gasket is a bit more expensive?

Interesting. The 69 parts book shows two different part #'s, with and without vinyl top, for Dart only. So the info is accurate, kind of surprising. I don't know the actual difference, maybe someone with a few 69 Darts will chime in.

If I had to guess, I would say that it must seal over the vinyl top material and has a wider slot and/or perhaps has some micro ridges or something to seal onto the texture of the vinyl. Probably worth the extra money if you have a vinyl top. Very interesting though. I have been trying to find the chrome for my 71 Demon so that I could install a vinyl and this is something I had not thought much about.

If you're looking for the trim that finishes the top off, there was some for sale on here a few weeks ago. It was all 6 pieces, and it was very nice. It's hard to find and is never cheap. I am putting a vinyl top on my 70 Duster, and lucked into some several years ago. As far as the chrome around the back glass, I don't think it's any different than a non vinyl top car.
