Will a 340 windage tray and main bolts work on a 5.9 Magnum?

I believe the original 340 trays will not because they have "round" holes to secure them to the special main cap bolts. Later windage trays, Direct Connection or later OEM were made with elongated holes to fit the 340 main cap bolt spacing as well as the wider 360 main cap bolt spacing.
I don't recall ever hearing about 340, 360 or 5.9 Magnum bolt length being different. But perhaps someone may know for sure about the 5.9.
You are correct on the tray, the special main bolts would be the same.
Can the bolt holes be elongated on the 340 tray. I did have both at the same time but never compared them. Kim

I would think so, but I'd check for any interference with the rotating assembly to make sure there weren't any changes in the "curve" of the tray. I don't know if any additional changes were necessary to accommodate the extra stroke of the 360.
The timing is just right in that my friend just brought over a disassembled 340 with a windage tray and my 5.9 is apart so I can check it out for clearance and what not. Seems the DC 5.9 tray might be made of that weird crap, unatainiume, or whatever it is.

Looking in my 2001 MP catalog P4529790 fits 318, 340 and 360.
I used a 340 style on my 5.9 Magnum, ovaled the holes and made sure it cleared the oil pan before installing it. So far so good!
Tray is the same just the holes are wider on a 360. Mopar Performance tray attaching holes were slotted to fit either 360 or the other Mopar small blocks.
In my stash I found a tray with the elongated holes so maybe a MP one. Now just need the bolts which I think Mancini has.
