At Tortilla Flats. Nice little outpost off the Apache Trail. Famous for being a stagecoach stop and a stop for the Pony Express. Rat rod Addiction club put it on. Kinda nice is we had an overcast which cooled us from the 110 temps we had yesterday.

Lot to look at. Last two Cars and Coffee I went to here in Tallahassee back in February and March was 95% new stuff - Corvettes, Camaros, Mustangs and Challengers/Chargers. Impressive cars, many of them with high $$$$ mods to already fast cars, but not really my taste.

There were a couple of new Rustangs that rolled with the group. Their junk was down for maintenance so that’s what they had to drive. All in fun.

Sure, I actually went to the first of the two Cars and Coffee in a friend's Mustang. Drove my 49 Dodge to the second one. It was the oldest car there.

Don't know how you deal with 110 degree heat. It's been 100 here the last two days and it's miserable. Supposed to be cooler (like low nineties) the next few days.

Very cool. I have been to Tortilla’s Flats when my folks used to winter in Apache Junction.

We had monsoons today. It was actually 80 this morning when we met at 8. I left at 10:30 and caught the tail end of one of the storms. Real windy and lots of rain. It will be back up 110-112 by Monday.
