Hey guys, apologies if this is in the wrong section but I'm in a pinch. I'm not trying to sell anything here.

I have a rusty 64 2 door post Valiant (titled in my name). I pulled this car out of the weeds/trees where it had been sitting for many, many years and got it running. A year ago I moved out of state for work and left the car with my folks until I could ship it back east.

My folks are now moving on short notice and I have to get rid of the car ASAP. The car is located in Tacoma, Washington. It doesn't make sense wkth the price of fuel and state of economy to ship it to me. I would prefer to give the car to someone who could use the parts instead of scrapping it.

The bad - the seats are in Alabama with me. I started cutting out rusty floor pans before I found out I had to move, so thats as far as I got. The floors are rusty. Like bad rusty. The new passenger floor pan is in the car, the drivers side pan is unfortunately in Alabama. The entire floor needs to be replaced. Body is straight otherwise.

Good-
170 slant
New Offenhauser 4 barrel intake
Front Dutra Dual exhaust manifold
New Quickfuel 450, vac secondary carb
New timing chain
New head gasket
GM HEI conversion
Dual chamber master cylinder

Probably more that I can't think of.

I have the title in Alabama and I'll send it to you, if anyone is interested please let me know. There's no funny business, it's not something that I'm happy about having to do.

Gee whiz. I'm clear over in Idaho. There are certainly members here closer to the Sea-Tac area

One thing of note - there is some weird offenhauser linkage pictured which didn't work well for me. I replaced it with a V8 pedal and Lokar throttle cable but I can't remember if I left it on the car.

Wow. That would be perfect for me a second 64. I'd love it. But I am in Georgia, bout as far away as I can be and of course, broke as usual. Good luck. Someone will have a nice little project.

I'm game to give this a new home, and I'm relatively local. I tried to send you a PM but your inbox is full. If you can clear it out and give me a shout we can put this together.

Oops! I forgot to mention my schedule is open enough to get up there quickly. I'm only two hours away.

It would be good if Halfafish could get it. He would do justice to it!
And he's one of the best storytellers on the forum!! So we'd all get to hear all about the 1/2" socket running away with the throttle bracket or other such things! And the OP would get to see the car being given a loving home.

Whoa! Lots of great stuff there. I am in Seattle and can arrange a very quick pick-up if those before me falter.

Best - Michael

@66Dirtydart, your car is ready for its next adventure. I got it out of your folks place with no damage to the lawn or anything else. As others have mentioned, a whole heaping pile of thanks for doing this.

I envision this being a super sleeper version of a corner carver, rat-rod style. I will start a build thread on this as I get into it. Here it is, getting an assist from my faithful workhorse on the way to its new home.

Real nice, Zach. I caint think of a nicer guy to get it.

Looks like it’s in really good shape.

On initial evaluation, I agree. The floors are terrible, the lower rear quarters have seen better days, and the driver's front fender dogleg needs work. Otherwise unless this has huge amounts of underneath not-fixable rust, it's a winner.

The good news is, all that stuff is available!

No one's going to deny you're a nice guy and I won't either but you're not in over your head with all the projects you already have?... I think you need to exhibit a little more self-control when the word free is mentioned.... Good luck with the other three projects in front of it besides your property...
