I just went through a little fiasco getting my US Cartool leaf spring mounts installed.
I have another thread called "Dana 60 too narrow"
Anyways what I explained on that thread is completed.
On to the caltrac sliders. I am going to need to notch the frame and weld in a plate since I had to move the leaf springs inboard an additional inch.
At last, the question.
Where should the spring eye center sit in the slider?
Hopefully this can be done without weight on the springs since the car is a shell as of now & I have no wheels for the car yet.

Per the AFCO slider instructions, the slider bolt is supposed to sit a 1/2" behind the center of the slot. How you'll figure out that spot without the weight of the car on the ground I have no idea. When I did mine I slotted the brackets I made and mocked it all up to figure out the final location before completing the mount.

I mounted mine with a bracket I made to replace the shackle brackets. But I only have the 1/2" spring offset

Here's the AFCO instructions

@younggun2.0 used sliders as part of his spring relocation, he also notched the frame rails. You can see the pictures of his work here
Post your wheel and tire combos.

Thank you for posting this.

We installed ours so they have adjustable ride height as the front hangers are . They are removable and can also be moved forward or rearward. Rails were also moved up 3 inches.

With the CalTrac sliders, they say to put the center of the leaf spring bolt 60% minimum to 75% max, back from the front of the slot at ride height.
Go to CalTracs web site and click on dimension sheets at top of page, go down the page till you find the slider instruction sheet.

Okay those are good answers, thanks for the phot to, since no one is answering on the caltrac thread, do your caltrac split monoleaf have the same part # on them ? Is there supposed to be a left & right ?.
Answer, it doesn't matter

There is no right or left they have the same part number on all the sets we installed. Torque wrap is controlled by the caltrac adjustment.

In the future, I'll open the box & empty the contents.
Lol, the instructions were right at the bottom drrrrrrrrrr !
Also read said instructions so I'm not trying to press a bushing with a nut bolt and washers.
