Shifter Handle
I posted the link to the ONE part you need to swap out to make it a bolt in handle mech. I actually just did one yesterday.
Whats the number on the reverse lever? If its a 7180 it would be E body 1970 only and has a little more value than most others.
If I were you I would go ahead and do a full rebuild on it. The rebuild kit is about $100 from summit racing. The handle carrier is $20 from brewers. You can get the clamp plate for the handle for $15 on ebay. Handle stiffener mounting plate for 3 & 4 speed Hurst bolt-on stick shifters | eBay (brewers is out of stock at the moment).
Here is a pic of one I did last week. I strip them down, glass bead and black oxide all of the parts.
