There's no reason for the gas prices to be were they are. If the people would've stayed home on memorial weekend, gas prices would have dropped like a rock. Some of the high gas prices are the people's own fault as they have the mentality that they are going on vacation no matter what it costs. One lady said that she would borrow money to go on her vacation. People would surely be surprised how much the gas prices would drop off if they would just got their driving in half.
