Routing factory main fuel line

Here's my routing question: I can't recall if the fuel line was supposed to bend inboard just aft of the passenger seat support, possibly ride along that upper bracing flange. Pulling the line back towards the tank this is as far as it will go. This doesn't look like a factory resting place. Any ideas? Next I'll tackle where to plunge through the frame connector, gonna 2 piece this thing.

Man we need it too, it's a hot *** dust bowl. Upside: no weeds this Spring lol
 
You are close, seems like it should fit inside that flange, should be a clamp or holding clip there. Plus it looks like you have a subframe connector there.

Right? I looked for old clip holes etc. Nada. Yep, gonna fit a union to get through the frame connector
 
Boom.... lol in all fairness my factory one was in there when I got my new one.. so I was able to blueprint it. My original sending unit when I pulled it out look like the inside of the Grand Canyon or something man that thing was bout clogged I'm surprised it ran it all
