Ordered a new cam today for the W2 408

FWIW - my 408 has a SFT Bullet cam also. I worked with Kurt there. 10.5CR, mild ported Eddies, Super Victor, and 850DP. The cam is 251/255@050, something like .557/.567 lift, on a 106 LSA. Lobes were for the "middle" lifter diameter so to be a tad easier on the valvetrain (think that is the Ford lifter diameter?). Anyhow, you won't be sorry with that LSA. Mine's an auto with an 8" TC that stalls at 5000 rpm but on the dyno, the engine made a tad over 500 #-ft as low as 3500 rpm. Not enough cyl head to wind it out much past 6200 but I like the cam and suspect you will too! 4.10 gears going in the car to replace the 4.56's next month!

bet you car would be quicker with either a Victor( for sure) or an airgap( maybe, but most likely)
Super Victor has a huge plenum, and without porting work is actually a slug, unless a person has a good bit of motor.
Buddy years ago ran a stroker B1BA combo, that was pretty healthy. Ran 9.05- 9.09 ish in good air in the 1/4…super light chassis car. Like 2350-2400 pounds, Black Cuda. They still race it, but big Best Machine big block now. Runs 4.90’s in the 1/8 on motor.
Swapped on a super Victor and best it ever ran was high teens.
