Starting to weld up all the holes that have been put in the engine compartment of a 69 Barracuda. Not sure on the cleanest way to patch this:

Was thinking if someone had a completely scrap body, maybe a big hole saw to cut out that spot and use for a little patch panel?

Make a rectangle shaped patch just big enough to cover the holes and conform with the contour of the firewall ,then cut out the firewall to match the patch, weld it in.

Maybe just get some rubber plugs and call it a day.

Remember, there's not much of the firewall that is visible or really noticeable once the engine is in.

That may be the way. I am by no means a body guy. But if that is what it comes to, I'll give that a try.

Thank you.

Because of the multiple contours, it might be easiest to cut a patch out of a firewall on another 67-76 A-body. Some of the patchwork I did on my 71 Barracuda needed to be done in several steps.

You're not running a heater core? Or heater blower?
For the bottom 2 holes that are obviously not factory, I would use a magnet(if possible) to hold 2 small pieces in the holes, then tack weld until all gaps are filled.
