Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got ya. we used to grease between steel plates for a set of slip plates, worked well.

If ya had some of that flax soap to use for a lube between the plates would be a good setup. It's water soluble.
I used some white polyethelyne and grease. After maybe a dozen times used they are curling, and all chewed up. In hindsight, clean tires and work area and an alternative to petroleum based grease. Something water base so they can be cleaned easier.

Dropped Jeep off a local shop, well reputable shop. Guy can do a pressure test and check the coolant for exhaust gasses among other tests such as air flow temp, CFM flow. 150 bucks to run all those checks

Morning!
Clear and sunny!
Rain yesterday was probably 2”.
Started at 11:30 am and rained until 9:00.
Jeep for power steering hose.

I did get a set of alignment plates, but easier to use the home made ones, to back off and road test.

Good Morning everyone. I hope all is well. Not quite as hot today, played in the machine shop here in the Lab this AM. Just refreshing. Prototrak mill sure makes bolt circles easy. Made myself a rim gauge for 5x4 and 5x4.5. Simple but now I have one and got to run the machines again.

Morning all. It is supposed to be nice today, 80's and dry. 50% humidity is a good thing. We have a barrel pick to do today if it all comes together. Some 15 year old bourbon. The brand will be a surprise.

My daughter and SNL who is in the AF currently in Japan got their orders in hand yesterday.
They will be moving/stationed Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL with a December 1 report date.
They will come through here sometime in November for a week or two on their way there.
Daughter's Mom is giving them her older SUV. I think we are going to give them Cheryl's 2007 Camary. Only has 130k miles.
They'd like to buy a house so taking care of the vehicles will help them out.
First time in seven years they're back in the US and looking forward to seeing them on a more regular basis.

That sounds great and someone to visit in the winter.
