I'm sure you've all replied to help somebody but they never return to the thread. You were left wondering if they ever resolved their problem.

So my question is, has this happened to you?

BTW I will not let you know if you helped me with that question.

 We run into that quite often when moderating, sale threads with no pics, prices, or location. We try to give the seller a chance to correct the ad but sometimes we get tired of waiting and remove the thread. :mob::lol:

I HATE it when people ask-n-dash. I bet these are the same folks that don't return their shopping carts or fart in a crowded elevator

Now hang on. I have way more class than to not return a buggy.

I will get back with you with an answer to your post ..............................ASAP!!

Sadly it happens on all platforms of social media.

farting in an elevator? Thats a given, 20 floors-pressure has to equalize. And only if therr is elevator music…

Here are two examples I just LUUUVVV......

The first asks a question like it's an emergency and they need an answer NOW. Then when they get answers and suggestions, it's "I won't have time till a couple of weeks to work on the car" or "The car is at another location and I'll get to it when I am there" or some such.

The second example is when everyone is giving examples of what it "could be" and the poster shoots down every single idea without even having checked......and of course it ends up being one the things we recommended.

First let me stand up for workin' stiffs with little kids. I get pretty irritated with respondents that act like we are on the telephone. I have to get the question in when I can and get back when I can. If it takes a day or two I'm sorry but thats the way it is. Today I can sit here watching my budget forecasts load up for hours and play on here too. When the boss is around or I have the babies, all bets are off!!!

Now there are a lot of respondents that frankly just don't know what they are talkin' about and when time is tight I may just wait and get back to the ones I know and trust. I've been here for over 10 years, and know who knows what. I can't imagine I'm alone in that.

Finally, there's plenty of bull **** on here too... What's the lady say? I ain't got no time for dat !! If all you got is crap, than I hope you believe in "ghosts".

There's a lot of lazy nowdays. We have to look up the information, you can to. I tend to "teach a man to fish"

What Year is This ? It was my Dad's and I really need to sell it for him (he's sick). Thanks in advance, and the sooner the better !!

When you try to do it that way, they get all mad and pissy. They want it on a silver platter.
