There is a lot of stored energy in those batteries.....Just yesterday I was reading about a Tesla that had been totaled in an accident. It caught fire at the scene and the FD was able to extinguish it. It was towed to a junk yard from the scene. 3 weeks later it self ignited
. FD arrives to extinguish it and at first is successful. Before they could head for the firehouse it ignites again
. They had to build an earthen berm around the Tesla and flood it with water to put it out
. Will they have to keep the reservoir filled to avoid future ignitions?

There was a Tesla at work the other day. I believe the model in pic below. You would think they could have done something a little more aerodynamic with that front area where the grill would be on other cars. That area was just plastered with bugs. LOL
I am back Getting those mounts made up wont be cheap, mostly due to the tooling for the shaping dies. We shal see.
Can they be plasma cut and welded. Not a original look but way cheaper to make.

I doubt you will sell enough of them to cover the cost to make them that way.

Funny with the Teslas, they just put in two chargers in front of the Giant in HALIFAX! I am sure they will get backed into before being used.
