Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just yesterday I was reading about a Tesla that had been totaled in an accident. It caught fire at the scene and the FD was able to extinguish it :thumbsup:. It was towed to a junk yard from the scene. 3 weeks later it self ignited :eek:. FD arrives to extinguish it and at first is successful. Before they could head for the firehouse it ignites again :wtf:. They had to build an earthen berm around the Tesla and flood it with water to put it out :lol:. Will they have to keep the reservoir filled to avoid future ignitions? :rofl:
There is a lot of stored energy in those batteries.....

There was a Tesla at work the other day. I believe the model in pic below. You would think they could have done something a little more aerodynamic with that front area where the grill would be on other cars. That area was just plastered with bugs. LOL

I am back Getting those mounts made up wont be cheap, mostly due to the tooling for the shaping dies. We shal see.
 
Did some more mowing. Im cooked! 75% done. Then i can start over. 82f here right now. Think i will take the air conditioned truck for my appointment later.
 
Better get my stuff done,1 week and i will be busy. 4 hour drive on thursday, wedding on friday, then home saturday. Sunday is car show in town, which im volunteering at. 7:00 am until who knows when. Im working in the sign in booth.
 
Working on something with a major vendor also. Machinest might eat the dies. We shal see. Hey OMR Call Dillon by the way we were just talking today.
 
Funny with the Teslas, they just put in two chargers in front of the Giant in HALIFAX! I am sure they will get backed into before being used.
