I'm also looking for same.....Do you have any old part to model for altering a regular Upper bearing to get the oil squirt to timing chain effect ?

Not yet but I may have a line on one. If and when I do I'll post the results.
 
Not sure what your talking about. But if you are refering to the #1 main bearing upper shell being different then the other mains for chain oiling.
Don't know on the big blocks, but on the slant six the #1 upper main shell (OEM bearings only) had a 45 degree champher on the edge of the shell for chain oiling. Us slant six people, just use a file to add this champher to the bearing shell, as aftermarket bearings don't have it, and OEM are not available.

Thx Charlie..... That's what I want to replicate for my RB block application....Can you draw picture or actual photo of before & after upper bearing she'll ? I want to modify a Std bearing correctly without causing a massive oil pressure drop...Thx,...tom
