finally gave the dart some love today. changed the oil, filled the gas tank and cleaned her up. that 52 year old paint still shines.

Looks good, I wish mine looked as good. The paint on mine is only about 15 years old.

That's amazing, I'd swear that thing was repainted- nice car !

Beautiful car.
Looks great for original paint.
I love the color and the painted steel wheels and pie plate hubcaps, it really suits the car!
You are one lucky guy...

Original paint ?
Dam ..... Very nice !

yes original paint.. its got plenty of imperfections up close but presents well.. there is no tape lines, no overspray and the paint is thin.. my buddy that i bought the car from bought it from the original owners estate after he passed..

thanks. jamie wouldn't allow me to put any other wheels onthe car so when i got rid of the 14" original wheels she insisted it had body color wheels on it again, so i have way too much money into a set of 15" steel wheels..lol

white walls are when my buddy first bought it. white letter tires is the day we bought it and brought it home in 2015 i think it was.....

FK5 burnt orange. it changes colors in different light. sometimes it looks brown and others orange..
That's a gorgeous Dart.
My 1968 LL1 Surf Turquoise Road Runner did the color change thing. In bright natural light it was greenish, but under artificial light at night, it looked much more blue. FK5 and LL1 are my two favorite Mopar colors. Curious Yellow gets an honorable mention
