Whats the thoughts opinions or experiences using CBD products for arthritis joint pain?

I give my restless dog some every now and then, sleeps like a baby all night. A few of my friends use it for back pain. Seems to work or make them feel better, don't know which!

It wasn't effective for my severe arthritis, but I have a couple friends who are happy with the results of using it on their mild to moderate.

I've thought about it. Not tried it yet.

We use it in the form of gummies, they really help relax and take the edge off, Delta 8 but they make delta 9 & 10 which are stronger. Use it for our dogs too, for some pet stuff that helps calm them when we go to the vet. There is also CBD topical cream that my wife uses on her neck or shoulder pain when she gets it and she says it helps

My wife uses the gummies to help her sleep and to calm her restless leg stuff. She has pain in her right foot from bunion surgery, that the gummies do not help. I don't use them because I still get drug tested at work, but I retire in 6 months....so maybe then they will help me sleep better and provide some anger management...lol.

thought it was to calm or relax you...didn't know it was a pain killer? Nuthin' helps my arthritis.Laying off or taking it easy doesn't seem to help but just insures things don't get done. If i work through the pain it clears up some during the day.

I looked on Amazon and didn't see them listed as "delta" strength. How can I tell the difference?

My massage therapist has it in salve form. Might be a solution. I have used that 'Voltaren' cream with some positive results, although it is an NSAID and can be hard on your liver if you are prone to that. Ibuprophan is also a NSAID....for comparison.

Yeah eat an entire bag you mean ****... Hope you are doing well and deserved a bit of a shot this Friday Afternoon... LOL

Have a good weekend

My mom used it prior to her passing. It helped with some of the anxiety and pain management.

My daughter gave me a bottle of Jack Daniels for fathers day. If the gummies dont work I'll see if Jack can help me.

My late wife had a medical marijuana card. I've tried a number of CBD products, but never found one that really helped the arthritis.
A few months ago I learned about High Polyphenol Olive Oil. It really has reduced the arthritis pain in my hands and knees.

i don't know about these remedies..cremes..relaxants etc but that Jack Daniels may make you fall down and hit your head!

My biggest issue with all of this stuff is that you never really know:
#1. What you're actually getting. Could be meth, could be ground-up smurfs, you never really know.
#2. How much of what you're getting. Could 1 dose per dose, could be 10, could be 1000.

I'm no expert but I believe cbd does not make you fail drug test ?
It is thc that fails tests.
If you eat high amounts of thc you will get extremely high .

I guess I’ve never looked on amazon, maybe the kind we get is a Minnesota thing? They are regulated by the state you live in....Delta ones are stronger and work better, it will show up on a drug test but they are trying to change the laws here on this stuff so not sure how long they’ll be available. You might be able to order them from where I get them...my wife’s friend owns the store and is great with informing us how this stuff all helps. If you would like to know more send me a PM

Well, that answers it for me. It it'll show up on a drug test, I ain't messin with it. I thank you sir.

I was a professional marijuana grower for many years. 2000-2020.
CBD is ok for pain, but truly CBD activates with THC and will work waaaay better for arthritis pain.
I grew in the latter part of my time to create salve for children with seizures. It would take a youngin from having 30 seizures a day to having 1, maybe 2.
Non of you will get high from using thc oils or salve for pain.
If you eat gummies, that is a different use typically so you have to make sure you get the correct ones. Gummies are more for getting high although the cbd specific ones are for pain.
One example, One great friend to me, is a fire chief. He's getting up there in age and can no longer stand on his feet for 10 hour days. I make an oil for him that he mix's into lotion that he puts on his feet, once in the morning and once in the evening.
This helps him stand all day long and then he is able to sleep at night due to the pain in his feet going away.
I have now converted some 100 people who thought that weed was bad to have some enjoyment in life again.
Another good friend of mine, 30 year insomniac. Can't focus at work, 3 hours a day maybe are good, was over weight.
I got him to just take one vapor puff at night and now he can sleep 8 hours, work 10 hours and has lost almost 80 pounds since he started. All from sleeping.

I suggest any of you old guys and ladies to try cbd/thc salve or oil for your ache's and pains. It typically will make a difference.
Usually increasing your quality of life. Out of something you can grow and make in your own back yard, that doesn't kill people like the "drugs" that this is compared to. It's changing.

I have no advice to urine analysis.
If you have a job that controls your body to the extent that they will only let you get opiates for your pains then that is your decision.
I do know that several of the folks that use my thc/cbd salve have not failed any testing but I make no guarantee to that. Nor do I sell anything any longer. I give it to my friends.

Delta 8 is an entirely synthetic form of THC that is in part derived through hemp.
Therefore it is legal in many of the states that do not allow Marijuana.

Delta 9 is derived through the actual marijuana plant that contains thc. Typically, most delta 9's are not fully synthetic. These are usually allowed in non marijuana states.

I try to steer folks away from delta 8 as it is a synthetic. I don't suggest synthetics for just about anything. Not natural.
I know the scientist who patented and created delta 8.

Great information, thank you. But now I have more questions than before. LOL

I have first hand knowledge of mosta what Cuda Hunter says, and agree.

If you have pain, sleep difficulties, arthritis, you definitely can improve your quality of life by using Cannibis products .

Ditto CBD with THC has much better efficacy.

Don't be scared, - if you do get high, it's like a champagne buzz, not a moonshine knock-out ! !
Never a "hangover" .

I've used it since the 70's, to manage crippling IBS, and now for my arthritis.
I was certified insomniac, - now sleep like the dead, wake fresh and alert .

Questions welcome .

My buddy that takes on vape hit a night to sleep tried the marijuana pill. He said he slept like a baby but he felt groggy when he woke up. So, that doesn't work for him as he doesn't like any kind of grogginess when he awakes.
