Need to quiet down my 72 Dart 360 has 2.5in exhaust now and it's too loud.
Any suggestions for a muffler greatly appreciated
Thanks

Quiet is subjective. What do you have now?

I have what people called the most quiet Dynomax Turbos and they are too loud and drone like mad at 2k.

Flowmasters suck. To tinny. THRUSH Hush or some good old turbos, pass on the straight through or baffled, you want the chambered style and the longest that will fit.

Resonators after the muffler does wonders on a long post pipe and a crossover really mellows out the pulses of duals. No more pop pop out each side, now its more of a common thud.

Bought a complete header back set from jegs yrs ago no longer have headers went back to manifolds

BW what kit was it so I can look to see what size mufflers it used, or do you not care and are willing to change? Several quiet ones you could choose from if you are going new system.

I'll have to measure the mufflers been over 12yrs since I bought them.

5.9 Magnum with Edelbrock heads and a decent cam., and headers. I went with Dynamax Super Turbos. Almost too quiet, but a nice deep sound.

Here's their website with sound examples.
Sounds of Dynomax
