As a child and early teens I spent a lotta time in Proctologists offices trying to resolve issues .
I started dating a flower child, and started smoking a lotta dope, after a few months, my 20-50 min bowel movements and other issues declined, and almost became a non-issue .
We broke up, I stopped smoking pot, issues returned, smoked pot, issues deminished .
Read and discovered that a Doobie would "relax" the body in a few puffs, so started each day with a Doobie first thing,- bowel movements and issues resolved to minor discomforts .
In those days the Mexican pot was crap, nowhere near as potent as today.
As driving laws will suggest, impairment lasts about 20 mins with today's pot, so going to school/work was not an issue,
Travel was a challenge.
In the 90's, with the internet, I was able to access a lotta materials that big pharma had been doing on Cannibis, the results were exciting, then the Feds made pot a "Schedule 1" drug, - no redeeming medical qualities, so research in the U.S. stopped .
I now make chocolates, infused with Cannibis tincture, use for when my arthritis acts up, (seldom now) .
I found that not eating a meal till dinner reduced my daytime IBS bouts, - acid reflux, have become a non issue .

Old time research
CANNABIS TINCTURES AND FLUID-EXTRACTS
Good luck
P.S. - I married the flower girl, will be 50 yrs this Xmas eve

We use it in the form of gummies, they really help relax and take the edge off, Delta 8 but they make delta 9 & 10 which are stronger. Use it for our dogs too, for some pet stuff that helps calm them when we go to the vet. There is also CBD topical cream that my wife uses on her neck or shoulder pain when she gets it and she says it helps
The wife and I have used delta 8 and didn't notice anything different, suppose to help you sleep better which it didn't. Guess it depends on the individual too. Just like caffeine is suppose to help keep you awake, I can drink a pepsi or anything with caffeine and go right to sleep. I think that a lot of it is mind over matter.

I always heard weed was bad for you and that's enough for me. I never tried it for myself and taking people for their word is something I dare not ever question.

It's very hard on your lungs worse than smoking cigarettes.

Soooo funny .
About 5 yrs ago during a physical, a "spot" was noticed on one of my lungs, - they asked me to come back in 3 mo's.
I went back, the "spot" was gone ! !
They asked what I had done, - I smiled, told them I ate a lotta chocolate ! (CBD/THC infused) .
No **** ! !

Surprised that they waited 3 months for you to come back. Something that a lot of people may not know is that cancer feeds on sugar. Your lucky it was gone, probably wasn't nothing to begin with.

Yeah, probably , - but there's plenty of other remission stories, google it .

Just so you know, and don't spread fake news - (note the last sentence)
I had previously researched it, - try it .
Sugar is not a carcinogenic (cancer-causing) substance. However, over-consumption of sugar, particularly added sugars in processed beverages and foods, can contribute to obesity which is an important risk factor for cancer. There is no evidence that consuming sugar makes cancer cells grow faster or cause cancer.

Does sugar cause cancer?.

I never said that sugar causes cancer but that cancer feeds off of it. My brother recently died from cancer and his doctor advised him to reduce his sugar intake because cancer feeds off of sugar.

Im sorry about the loss of your brother. There are many articles about sugar and cancer and you are correct that sugar does not cause cancer.
I read a article from MD Anderson hospital concerning this topic. I didnt post the link but it should be easy to find.
Either way we consume to much sugar in this country which contributes to a lot of health problems
As far as cannabis and cancer, my wife asked her oncologist if it would help and she was sent to a doctor that prescribes medical marijuana.
In my wife's situation it didn't really make a big difference and eventually she stoped.
Im using some of these gummies at a low mg, that have no THC, we'll see how it goes
I thought I read its legal to grow a few plants and harvest it yourself, Maybe get rid of the tomato plants and replace them with pot plants LOL
Thanks for replies, very helpful

Not even close. I know many people who have died of cigarettes and chew, some in my family.
I don't know one person who has died from smoking weed.
Sure, throw the, yeah he smoked cigarettes as well as weed but that doesn't hold up.

The Toll of Tobacco in the United States

Find anything to the contrary about people dying of cancer from Marijuana.

Very close, I don't remember what the ratio is but 1 joint is equal to like smoking 10 cigarettes. Our lungs are not designed to be filled with any form of smoke. If you don't believe me that's fine, ask your doctor about it and if he or she is honest about it they will tell you what the ratio is. So, if you smoke both you really increase your risk of getting lung cancer.

Funny what people get in their heads and believe. But once it's in there you'll never convince them otherwise.

I don't smoke cigarettes.
I limit the amount of marijuana also.
I prefer Live Rossin. Quite different than most items with less carcinogens.
One thing that I didn't say was that smoking marijuana or anything (campfire)(dinner) is bad for our lungs. No doubt.

Find me 1 doctor that can show me proof any person who has died from chronic marijuana smoking. I'm sure there is a few but would like to read or talk to a doctor about actual cases.

I seriously would like to learn more about that as I have been taught, as most, that marijuana is BAD, regardless of any science around it.
Our country is waking up from that form of thinking about marijuana specifically.

I'm very surprised at the amount of older folks that use it for ailments and sleep.

480,000 deaths a year due to tobacco.
750,000 deaths a year due to abortion.

Both are forms of killing yourself.
Both are bad.

I can't find any large number of people on the internet news sites that will confess that folks die of marijuana.

Perhaps, since America stopped scientific research in the 90's we just don't have any specific numbers. Farce.
Isreal has been studying Marijuana for a long time. They have no statistics on people dying of chronic marijuana smoke.
Somewhere, somehow, someone has some numbers that need to be proven. Would like to see it.

That link I posted show big pharma tried to find a "toxicity" level for Cannibis prior to the 1930's, - by giving ever increasing dosages to subjects, NOT A Single Death !
There is no evidence anyone has ever died as a direct result of smoking or ingesting Cannibis .
I'd like to see a credible link that proves otherwise .

I hold nothing against anyone for what they choose to do. My only hangup with the "delta" forms of this is it will show up on a drug test. That puts me on the other side of the law and I'm not doing it. Now, if it becomes legal in Georgia, fine. I'll rethink it. It sounds to me like what works best is the delta variants and as of right now, I don't think they're legal in this state.

EDIT: It appears delta 10 is legal in Georgia, although I don't know what the hell delta 10 is. LOL

Again I NEVER said that smoking marijuana causes cancer or that anyone has ever died from it. But no matter how we look at it any form of smoke is NOT healthy for our lungs. Seems like you guys are reading and making it sound like something totally different.

I tried delta8 with no noticeable difference in my sleep pattern or my arthritis or my back pain.

I agree with you. I don't want to be on the other side of the law either. I'm 62 and have NEVER been arrested, I think that says something for my up bringing

Correct. A LOT of people fail to realize that smoke is a .........wait for it........SOLID. It's not a gas. It's made up of tiny solids. As such, it's not fit for the lungs to breathe. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Having said that, I agree 100% that cigarettes are FAR WORSE than Mary Jane. One has dozens, if not more chemicals and the other is totally natural. Still, not something I wanna do......at least anymore. lol

Whats the thoughts opinions or experiences using CBD products for arthritis joint pain?
Boron also sold as borax helps with this. Start with a 1/4 tsp and work up. It’s no different than table salt, also 10mg of borax is 1mg of boron

Try some infused chocolate from a pot store .
I make my own, distil 151 everclear to get 99% alcohol, carboxylate the pot to activate the "magic".
Mix the tincture with some quality chocolate. (Waterbridge from Walmart) .
It's more effective than store bought .
Check out the Leafly site fore great info, recipes, references .
Find, order, and learn about weed | Leafly
hope it helps, cheers .
