LA 360 stock intake and heads mild cam 600 Edelbrock keeps draining after sitting for only 2 days have to pour gas in to get it to start what can I do to solve this?

From the description.
Set the initial choke richer.
The intake manifold walls are dry after two days.
If you really think the bowls are low after two days. Verify it. Take the top off and look.

Going out on a limb here. It may have to do with the ambient temperature now in the summer and your area.
Edelbrocks (Carter) have small fuel bowls + the gas that has a alcohol content of 10 to 15% evaporation happens quickly.Not sure of the type,age,or even if your car has a mechanical fuel pump,if so there may be a drain back problem with the pump. I live in the desert and have installed booster mini electric pumps to prime my old carburetor cars and truck.Click the switch on for several seconds to fill the bowls then after starting click it off and let the mechanical pump do the work. Just a thought.

Thanks for all the help guys it"s been over 100 here for weeks 110 on front porch a couple times so that might be part of the problem
Look down carb and have someone pump the gas pedal
No shot from the accelerator pump dry bowl, shots not dry bowl.
We have all gotten so spoiled with instant on fuel injection.
If you really have dry bowels then the carb might be cracked, check for fuel smell in your oil.
Could be evaporation but I think that is an overused thought
Can you give me some details on your booster mini electric pump. I have the same issue on 75 international scout. Well known for the issue of evaporating gas in carb. If it sits for two days, it's gone. Contemplated the idea but moved on. Jeff
Holley calls it the Mighty Mite. They are all about the same tho marketed also by K&N,Mr Gasket,and others.
Found at Jegs and Summit.Auto Zone has them on the shelf.Most come in 3 pressures 1.5-4 psi,4-7 psi,7-10 psi.
I run the 1.5-4 psi.The mechanical pulls fuel thru it with the pump not running just fine.Toggle switched with or without a relay as they don't draw much power.
I even pulled the mechanical pump off my 360 Thermoquad Cordoba and ran just the mini to see how well it would do.
No problem keeping up with full throttle passes. They work well . Price is around $50.

The check valve in the mechanical fuel pump is not working. I had this happen to me way back in the early 80s so it’s nothing new. I’ll add this: in -40*F it still needed a prime or like said an electric pump as a helper. Or just run an electric pump. Kim

They are not draining, common issue on Edelbrock carbs.
The fuel is evaporating out of the bowl vents. Short of adding an electric fuel pump to prime the carb before starting there is nothing you can do.
Dont believe me? Just pour out a couple ounces of your favorite gasoline in an open top container and put it somewhere safe come back in two days and see whats left.

My solution is put a holley style carb on and enjoy the rest of your life.
Fuel evaporates out of H carbs just as much as other carbs. Sometimes, worse depending on the intake design such as a two plane. Bowls sit just above the hot runners, fuel in the bowls gets cooked.
A few companies offer an inline check valve if the fuel really is draining out of the carburetor. Here's one.

Thanks for all the input guys I'll look into electric pump
No time to read all the above posts. Probably not draining but evaporation. Edelbrock carbs are susceptible to that. Many here have installed a small electric "charge pump" that runs off a momentary switch to fill the carb bowl for a cold start. Electric primer pump for fuel

Worn out mechanical pump or air leak in fuel line.
Fuel inlet is at top of float bowl. Fuel cant drain up hill.
