Those ad's run locally quite often and I see more than one company now , how realistic is that to get done .. two days ? can't be ?

I havent seen the ads, but it seems if you need new plumbing ie moving the mixer or raising the shower head, god forbid you have old galvy. You look at that stuff the wrong way and you are plumbing the whole house. moving electrical outlets? removing old tile? I think some are somehow taking measurements then making a fibreglass surround to place over the shower stall/tub. Once they glue that stuff in place I suppose two guys could R&R fixtures......2 days is a pretty short turnaround.

Can you post a link?

I can't see it being a long-lasting quality job. I spent over half of my life in home construction from framing, exterior/interior trim, to custom cabinet building and installation. Now I've been out of work for twenty some years, but I've watched the tile guys, tub and shower installers and plumbers then me putting in cabinets it takes longer than two days and a remodel even with existing plumbing would probably take longer yet.

Could be possible as long as you are using an already manufactured "standard" tub/shower liner. I bet during your "free" consultation you'll be quoted both more time and more money for anything else.

If it's Bath Fitters or similar companies, I doubt you'd be happy with the results. Those outfits are lipstick on a pig type places who will come in and slap an el cheapo set of plastic cover panels over your existing shower and maybe add new fixtures and run. Just watching what you've done to your cars and that silver truck.....you like to do stuff right, and that was my reasoning that you wouldn't be happy with that type of work.

Couple of Mexicans can work pretty quick.

There's a carpet and flooring outfit here called "empire today".

It says right in their ads that the work gets done tomorrow.

Is that false advertising?

I really had no plans for the service, might undertake a large remodel at the house though .. it was done once about 8 years ago and most I like some I hate like the bathroom , has one of those HUGE jet tubs ..and want to get rid of that and put a smaller washer dryer on main floor in bathroom , I scribble down plans I might see about getting people lined up to do that next year
