Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good Morning everyone. 56° this AM. Wonderful night with windows open here too. So I found some rear 15x8.5 aluminum slots for the rear of the Demon so as to be all matchy matchy. I also found an acid treatment I may try on an old 14" pair first. I don't care for the polished look, I do love the oxidized magnesium look, so we will see what I can do. I have to switch to big bolt pattern which is no issue as I have the brakes and axles, just waiting on lug nuts and washers, may need a brake line or smalls so we will see when it gets changed. Also, while it is apart, may pull the 2.91 w/spool and use the 3.23 SG.

Played the weekly softball game.
Finally over the double quad strain I suffered from the past month, felt good to be able to run pain free.
Daughter and granddaughter attending and watched Papa chase down a couple fly balls and burn the outfield with a couple gap rips...fun!!

Well that sounds like a hoot. Glad the quads got healed, just rember they are likely not 100% yet. A double header might do ya in! I am taking a bit of time off recreational activities and trying to just heal up a bit myself.

Oh, I tweaked the worse of the two a little last night but not bad.
We don't have a game next week with the 4th next week so should be all healed by the next game.
Yep, it's not uncommon for me to get a phone call on game day asked to sub for a team in the other game time slot (6:15 or 7:30).
Cheryl on the other hand is a hot mess with a strained IT band. Going back to the doctor this morning for more treatment.
Too much golf and tennis...needs to pace herself a little better.

I have no idea where the IT band is but I think you should volunteer to rub it! Jodi is doing same thing, between tape and mud and sanding Sheetrock she can’t even raise her arms. Trying to find anyone for small labor type jobs is next to impossible. I am seriously thinking about becoming a handyman when I retire. Just do odd jobs, charge exorbitant prices and work when I want to.

That long muscle runs from the hip down your leg to the knee.
My buddy retired and did just that for a few years. He kept as busy as he wanted for $50 an hour cash.
Once the little old ladies bridge groups had his name, he was busy.

Amazing how much that stuff is worth these days. We still have a ton of it from my grandfathers AC business

You all wanna hear something by funny, I have a job offer from a company making EV power trains. It’s a fortune 100 company … but I hate EVs haha

Wave of a the future...so they say....

Good tech to understand even if you're not a fan of the end product.

I'm super interested in the battery technology more so than the actual powertrain
