Total knee replacement

-
She is walking around today with outbher walker. She has been doing exercises the doc told her to do cause Home health car screwed up and didn't show, she she's the Doctor Thursday
Not to be repetitive but are you seeing a common theme here from all us old farts that have had it done? The rehab is key, key, key! It sucks, and it is painful, and she will not want to do it. Be sure she does. For most part all of her new found mobility is created in the first thirty days post op. Be diligent!

That's great she's brave enough to already be walking on it. Kudos to her. She'll be back the full time warden in no time.

I had my left knee replaced in March. Best for the recovery is ice, ice, and more ice for the swelling. Ice machine helped the most by a constant cold . Make sure the therapy. Is done. I am riding my bicycle and walking all day at car shows. Tell her good luck on her recovery.

She was in pain all night but got up went outside and watered the small garden and Picked some blueberries to put on some keato pancakes. Now she's wore out and back to sleep

You probably worn out too and ready to get back on road

She is doing way better today and continues to improve 2 weeks after her surgery she bent her knee 120 degrees and almost lays it flat.We are discontinuing home health care and are up a physical therapy joint to set her up for next week. Its at a place she was going to before the surgery that told her they had to stop cause they saw her MRI and said no way till surgery she had to stop.

Woo Hoo guy, that is a win! Congrats. While the recovery process is certainly painful there is just no way to describe the benefits. I bet she already feels better than pre op pain level. Well done guy and give her a big thumbs up from all of us.

Thanks again for all ypur prayers. The warden is doing better than expected. So I'm going to try to leave Friday Going from DFW to BWI driving and not flying 3500 up and 3400 back drop and hook.I couldn't turn that down
