Looking for seatbelt bolts for my '64 Barracuda. Front and I am adding rear belts. I believe that I will need C-11 bolts. All (8) connections will be singles. I have been unable to find a source for new bolts. Does anyone here at FABO have a lead for a supplier? Or does anyone out there have (8) that can be purchased? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to put a wanted ad up. I've looked and there is a kit for e bodies but I've yet to see them individually let alone by there "C" size.

i thought the bolts were a more or less universal standard...i.e what fits my valiant fits most other cars of the era. and potentially anything up to the 90s when they started putting electronics in them to yank on the buckle in a crash.

i guess a 64 may or may not have had anchors for belts so are the threads standard?

my rear belts are UK Kangol BSE and my fronts are australian. and my old fixed belts went to a dodge dart owner. all use the same mounting bolts

my car is a 71 made before mandated belts front and rear....but the rear had the plates and threaded captive nuts in place.

Grade 5 or 8 SAE 7/16-20 US have imperial sized heads Euro have metric heads. all have the same smooth shank size for the swivel

but the US SAE standard prevails for the thread

if you see 1 1/2 thats the length of the bolt

in most cases
you need full thread + split washer for the reel or anything solid mounted.
and either a spacer or a bolt with a smooth shank for the top swivel mount (short bolt) and the bottom flying lead mount (into the sill so longer is ok) which are spaced out with 2 flat and 1 or 2 wavy washers to stop rattles

porsche used something daft and there will be a few others who did, but most of the time a trip to the junk yard looking for a rusted "not crashed" wreck does the job

they may be passivated differently but you will find the correct colour...
grey yellow black.

apologies i'll have to show my ignornace and say you lost me with the c11 ref. is this a property or a size..... i am but a child... :)

other useful things

hardtop pillarless drop links with big enough metal loop to accomodate most buckels without taking the belt apart

extenders for a top mount reel allows you to fit horizontal belt reels to a parcel shelf car when the top mount bolt hole is too close to the sail panel or rear glass to fit the reel in. due to its orginal job being a top mount for a fixed length belt.

this kind of seatbelt works nice in the back of a car with a parcel shelf if you use the brackets above

if you check out the picture on the box you can see the upper belt mount is adjsutable for adults and kids...
kangol Generation belts the reel is mounted horizontally at the top

Euro and US standards were more or less aligned from day 1

as stated if you wanted original chrylser bolts i think a wanted ad will be necessary, as far as i am aware orgonal equipment was half head thickenss grey bolts in 2 lengths with spacers and washers for swivel connections and a split washer for solid mounting...but my car is Australian
