64 Barracuda pace car?

This search says the pace speed at Daytona is 70mph. The banking has always been 31 degrees in the turns so I imagine the pace car speed has always been around the same even back then. I used to have a 66 Barracuda Formula S with the 273 Commando and it had no problem hitting well over 100 mph.
