Just heard on the news a few minutes ago a guy from the Toronto area was tagged going 100 over the speed limit in his 500,000 Lambo and in a very dangerous area where a lot of accidents happen.
The cops have impounded his car and pulled his license for a while also. Just wait till he gets the car back and his license back and his next ins policy.
I can hear it in court now..."Oh I'm sorry your honour but the gas peddle got stuck to the floor".

i remember back in the Netherlands, if they caught you doing 50 km/h or more over the posted speed limit you just forfeited your license
and that doesnt include the fines that come with it

for some reason they used a "correction" (i think the reasoning is that you want to give people the benefit of the doubt since not everyone has a calibrated speedometer like my wifes charger does)

that rule saved me a few times where they caught me at 53 over and got to write me for 49
