1965 Dart Crewcab daily driver
Last week has been spent making sure I like placement of my temporary console before I make a permanent one. Started with one of those pods glued to the bottom of the a/c unit. Worked well enough but always thought it looked hacked. New console has six switches and a USB plug across the top, Android Auto unit in the middle, and at the bottom the volt meter is on the left and GPS odometer on the right.
Oh and the combination of giant radiator and mechanical fan (and an actual thermostat) worked. Cruises, idles, and everything in between perfectly. Gauge verified against a resistance generator and an IR thermometer.
Now I just gotta wait 14-16 weeks for my cupholdersplus arm rest (4-6 days my a$$).
