Gonna try something different on the tree today.
Second time out this year, started like last year, all over the place on the tree first time out.
Definition of insanity , doing same thing, expecting different results.
Let’s see what happens, one time trial then into Elims
New tires!!

Well….stared at the bottom bulb too long
155 light ain’t gonna get it done..lol

It's all good. At least you supported the track and had a good time. What did you 60ft look like?

Love your car, btw

1.49, not good
Run 18 in tires, tire place mistakenly put 40 in both the fronts and backs.
Checked them, put them at 18, rechecked after the pass, both were somehow at 25????
Just reset them, wierd…
Unless I goofed up somehow. See what happens first round, kinda have to guess on a number, warming up, but think the car will pick up. We will see.
At least the alt belt is staying on

Buddy of mine races his hemi powered Cuda in box
He just sold a Mopar powered AMX he has to Schaeffer down in Ohio who I guess sold his beautiful Hemi Dart

Well, first round my light improved a little bit.
Opponents car fell off past 1/2 track, gave me lots of room to coast out

Nice lights in both lanes. With a 1.39, his car should be faster.
Did the new shoes help your 60 yet?

not yet. Car is kinda doggy today, not sure why. 1.49- 1.50. I know this vert is too tight for this motor
Guy I raced has a very light Fairlane, talked to him his air shifter shifted at 5 instead of 6k into high gear, been having issues with it.

A 1.39 60ft is a 6.35-6.40 1/8th. Looks like a light car that leaves good, needing more top end power.
According to Wallace, your 1.50 6.80 is ideal/(perfect).
Thanks for the response, Don. Go get em!

Run into a 002, 009 in two laps? Yikes!

these guys are tough for a footbraker like me to beat.
That said , I found something today, results don’t show it, but I found a spot, now I just have to consistently hit it.
Last year or so I have been guessing
That 72 felt like a 72, if that makes any sense, tomorrow is another day, see if I can start hitting the bullseye better, now that I have one to aim at
That is 8 laps total now for the year, not normal this far into the season, not being able to get tires for a while cut down on my seat time.
