When I bought my 64 Valiant a few years back. The owner tossed in a bunch of extra parts.
I forgot about this box when I started loading up for Carlisle.
Can someone identifie these, aside from the obvious.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah buddy. Spitfires. Layson's bought the rights to them and they now make them.....or sell them after somebody else makes them. lol Those look nice too.

They appear to be never installed.
Not sure I want to use them thought. I'm not a real fan of Headers on a street car.

Anybody know what those round holes in the flange are for? My spitties don't have them

Or the slotted bolt holes. Looks like an improved version

The s’mores holes make getting this bolts in easier. That’s why I think it was done.
IMO, *I Think* those holes in the flanges are for placement on a jig to set up the flange for welding the tubes on.

I have a machine to do the flanges, and the rest of the equipment to form and weld the tubes.
Just not sure if there would be enough interest in doing them.

As much as I dislike working with it(other than welding), I'd like to see headers made in stainless, shorty or otherwise. There must be a reason they're not popular. Wish I could polish the exhaust instead of de-rusting and painting it

Reason there not popular is expensive.
Price a stainless header the same as a cheaply made mild steel header of the exact same design and you’ll soon be out of stainless steel!
