What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?
Pulling the 4.56 chunk out of the avatar car and putting in my new 4.10 chunk. Both have spools and 489 cases. Planning to run the Sportsman class - footbrake and 1/4 mile. Don't want to wind the 408 up there in the 6800+8rpm range. This may slow the car down a bit but for me, it gets back to what drag racing was meant to be. (Can you tell I'm old school???) And it's the thrill of competition that I don't see in such a short race as an 1/8th mile. And there's no way this foot brake racer can cut lights with a trans brake/delay box car!!
Will be interesting to see what the 4.10 does to the flash speed on the TC. With the 4.56, it flashes to 5000. We'll see....
Here's the new 4.10 chunk and the 35-spline Moser axles I pulled out. Will work on getting the 4.56 out tomorrow.
