So I bought a braided oil pressure line from Summit last year looking to eliminate a possible point of failure by replacing the nylon tubing. Now that the top end is off my 360LA, I figured it'd be an ideal time to install it.

Replaced fitting on block and snaked the line through the firewall....

Removed fitting from rear of oil pressure gauge...

Murphy promptly arrives.

Any graceful way to convert this (what I'm guessing is) 1/16 compression to anything NPT?

Thanks for looking. The fitting on the Back of the gauge is not NPT. It's for the "nut" over the compression fitting.

No
Wrong gauge for the application that you would like to do. The treads are set up for a compression type fitting. You would need a gauge that has 1/8 npt and you will have no problems with finding the fittings.

Looks like it. Of course it's a 3 gauge set and the manuf does not make one with a 1/8 NPT input.

I did a braided line on my car and ordered a gauge with NPT and bought the appropriate NPT to AN adapter.

That's not 1/8 NPT, it's 1/8 tube flare. You can measure the fitting with an open end wrench. It's straight thread, like a nut or bolt. I think it's 5/16 24.
