Small Block Engine Leaning. Need Suggestions!
Hey FABO, I'm hoping someone can help me with this issue.
I'm putting a 318 into my '75 Trailduster. The motor mounts are sitting flush and even with the brackets and the engine crossmember. The little locator nipples are sitting in the divots, but it is leaning to the passenger side noticeably.
I know it should be offset to the pass side, but I'm talking about it riding downhill.
I have the A833OD transmission mounted behind the engine and it's also askew.
The motor mounts are the tall ones (1.75") on both sides. Is this just a case of changing the driver's side mount to the medium mount, bringing it down and hopefully making it level?
Or, is there something else going on that I've overlooked?
