I’m trying to find out where I can get a blank to make a spare key for my door locks. This is a picture of the key that locks/unlocks the doors and the crank for the rear gate window. I’m guessing that it’s the original. Any leads are appreciated.

Your local locksmith should have one or a source for one. It probably won't look like yours (I've actually never seen on like that) but any mid '60's key blank should work.

That’s a Curtis hardware/dime store key
Neat, but not original.

if you’re at Carlisle this weekend, I’m in E5-6 I can fix you right up.

Glad to see your wagon still has the key it did when I use to own it! My current 64 Valiant wagon has a similarly shaped key for the doors/window crank but it’s blank/doesn’t say anything on it. Also needs replaced so I’ve been keeping my eyes open for a good blank to have cut.

Does your door key on your 66 dart operate the back window? I have a 66 dart, with a power window, but I’ve never been able to get the window down
Does the tailgate window operate with the dash switch?

Time to trace the wiring and maybe take the panel off the gate to check whether the motor works or not.

You able to try that key?
I finally got around to trying it and it fits in the lock. Now I just need to get it cut. Thanks a bunch! Do you have the original style ignition key blanks for it? If so, how much are they?

Get in touch with gunbunny from this thread. He can point you in the right direction.

I have some more of those aftermarket blanks like I gave you, but no OE keys.
I can get those, but they run about $35 a set. My guy only has a few left.
Unless you're planing on a concourse correct restoration, I'd use the Y146 blank.
