can anyone tell me why my Duster leaks lots of water onto the floor boards thru the vents when I wash my car?

I'd guess enough trash buildup in the cowl to let water flow up and over the ledge at the top of the vent. Reach your hand up there and feel.
Left vent can be removed by itself; right one is part of the heater, so to remove it requires removing the entire heater.

Maybe your windshield wiper seals have dried up or have wasted away.
the cowl drains in the sides of your cowl are clogged

Let the boy go !
Look thru your cowl vents and see it there's crap building up. They drain off each side unless blocked. Hopefully not rotted.And yes wiper seals or windshield?
