its been a while, but if i remember correctly, cast nest are only allowed on the great lakes around here, and i was about 4 miles shy of lake Michigan
(and of course i know it wasnt a keeper, but it still counts)
funny you should mention that
i intended to go fishing with my boy, and then take the girls out boating later
i had bought a few crawler harnesses but forgot them in the garage
i figured my oldest girl would want to fish, and she is a simple hook and bobber girl, so i had tossed on rod in there that i know she likes, and a box of trout worms
time got away from me, and i ended up just taking the girls out
they did some swimming and i cought that little fellow on the rod i had brought for my girl
