Oversized oil pan?

I haven’t been able to find any after market oil pans for the slant six, but I’m hoping someone here knows something. I would prefer to not have to butcher two to make a bigger oil pan. I am wanting to build a performance slant build, part of which is a high volume oil pump. But I don’t want that high volume pump to run the sump dry. Any ideas?
A high volume pump is neither necessary or desirable for use on a slant. The stock Mopar OEM slant six oil pump has a 5/8 thick rotor. Replacement oil pumps have a 7/8 thick rotor, so they are a high volume pump compared to the stock pump. A aftermarket HV pump has a 1 1/8 thick rotor. This pump puts a lot of extra load on the gear, and the extra oil is not required.
A deeper pan, with baffles is a good idea, and kind of easy to build. There are no premade ones out there. The simplest way to make one is to cut the bottom off the sump, and weld a 2 inch wide piece of flat sheet metal around the pan, and then weld the bottom back on. Add an extension on the pickup to drop it to the bottom of the pan.
