Alternatives to Accurate Ltd.
I was looking at a pair of the Accurate Ltd. Schumacher ball joint flange pipes.
I'm installing the Tri-Ys into a car with elephant ears so the front of the engine is raised up and it seems like the ball joint would make it easier to get exhaust back on the car.
At 172.57 (where do they come up with these numbers?) the price seems crazy for what it is, but I know you have to pay to play and they're apparently quality parts so I'm willing to pay their price.
So I pop a set into my shopping cart, and hit the button for a shipping estimate and it comes back at 40.54 for FedEx ground shipping. I'm going to stand on principal and say hell no to that. I know companies are in business to make money, but I guess the mark up on the part isn't enough so they turned shipping into a profit center too.
Anyway my question is, are there any reasonable dealer for their parts, or is direct the only way to go? I didn't find any on google. If no, can I get something like this made up at a competent exhaust shop (if I can find one here)?
