Yeah, two headtubes to attach to those down tubes is $600. It's insane.

ETA: shipping on the headtubes is $187.54. BS.

I'm not really complaining about the price of the part, it's the shipping, and it will be nuts for those the same as it is for the ones with sockets.

Believe it or not, shipping on those is actually more - $43.34 vs 40.54.

You could stuff those in a USPS priority mail box for $10-20. They probably get a discount from FedEx to further boost the profit potential.

In the end I'll probably dig deep and pay up for them, but that doesn't make me any happier to be taken advantage of.
